An article in the February 2007 issue of America’s First Freedom cites information from a 10 year study by Dr. Jeanine Baker and Samara McPhedran which sheds light on the abysmal failure of John Howard’s National Firearms Agreement. The findings were published in the British Journal of Criminology.

“Homicide patterns (firearm and non-firearm) were not influenced by the NFA, the conclusion being that the gun buy-back and restrictive legislative changes had no influence on firearm homicide in Australia.”
